Disco Demolition

The Disco vs Rock’n’roll music war exploded in 1979, when Chicago’s Comiskey Ballpark hosted the Disco Demolition– a radio promotion gone wrong, which left a controversial legacy. I interviewed Patty and Jeff, a married couple,  about their experiences attending the event as teenagers.

Queer Voices NYC: Rick Landman

The above is from a project aiming to preserve marginalized LGBTQ+ voices. Rick Landman is a lifelong activist and member of Congregation Beit Simchat Torah, NYC's LGBTQ+ Synagogue. He spoke about the intersection of his Jewish, gay, and first generation identities.
